Behind every program decision is a student, a family, a horse, and a team whose lives are shaped by it. The work itself is extraordinary and meaningful, but the way most programs are structured to deliver those experiences is unsustainable.
The students who come to your program don't see your spreadsheets. They don't see the policy binders or the staffing schedules or the financial planning meetings. What they see, what they feel, is the quality of the experience you've built for them. The patience of the instructor. The temperament of the horse. The safety of the environment. The progression of their own skill and confidence.
That quality doesn't happen by accident. It's the downstream result of every operational decision a program makes: what horses to bring in, how to price lessons, how to train volunteers, how to document what's happening in each session, how to support the people doing the teaching. The structural work isn't separate from the mission. It's what protects the mission.
And yet the reality of running these programs tells a harder story. It's burnout in the directors who care too much to let things fall apart. It's good staff and volunteers walking away before the systems that would have kept them were ever built. It's horses showing signs of wear long before they should. It's documentation that hasn't been touched in years because there's never time. It's pricing that doesn't reflect what the program actually delivers. And underneath all of it, it's the quiet feeling, held by the person carrying it all, that the program could be doing this better.
None of that is a reflection of how much you care. Most of the program leaders we work with care more than is reasonable. That's part of what makes the weight so heavy. The structure, the systems, the policies, the financial clarity, these are the things that protect what you care about. Without them, the mission runs on the fumes of the people leading it. And eventually, those people run out.
Hoof Falls & Footfalls Program Coaching exists because we've watched this pattern repeat across the EAS industry for nearly two decades. We've also watched what becomes possible when programs get the right support, and how quickly real change can happen when a director or program leader is no longer trying to figure it out alone.
Working with our coaching team can compress the timeline most programs face from three to five years down to twelve months, with guardrails, prioritization, and a partner who has already walked this road and helped transform programs like yours.
We've helped programs restructure their pricing and recover tens of thousands in revenue they were leaving on the table. We've helped programs build the documentation processes and systems that protect them from liability exposure and strengthen their position for grants and donors. We've helped programs make horse management decisions that extend working careers and reduce costly turnover. We've helped directors finally delegate the work that was burning them out, watching their teams rise to meet the standards and trust placed in them.
And we've watched the ripple effects. Healthier horses. A team that wants to stay and serve at a higher level. Students who feel seen, supported, and challenged at the level their growth deserves. A program that runs smoothly enough that the people leading it can actually do the deeper, most fulfilling work they got into this for.
This isn't theory. Every coach on our team has firsthand experience running and managing programs of their own, along with experience coming alongside many other barns and programs to offer coaching and consulting across decades of work in this industry. We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We bring proven structures, strategies, systems, and frameworks built from nearly two decades inside real EAS programs, and we mold them to meet your program where it actually is today. Because your structure, your staff, your students, your facility, your finances, and your constraints make your program unlike anyone else's. We coach with that in mind from day one.
If you've poured yourself into building your program, and you're ready for the kind of partnership that can help build the next version of it, we'd be honored to learn more about your program and to work with you.
Instead of trying to fix everything at once, your program makes the changes that matter most, in the order that makes them stick.
Clear onboarding, defined roles, intentional culture, and the kind of structure that gives good people a real reason to remain part of what you're building.
Pricing that reflects what your program actually delivers, revenue you can plan against, and operational decisions grounded in real numbers.
Policies, procedures, and forms that match how the program actually operates today, that hold up to grantors, boards, and the next hire who walks in the door.
Schedules, workloads, and welfare managed proactively, protecting both your horses and your program's long-term ability to serve students.
Systems that carry weight that used to live entirely on one person's shoulders, and the delegation structures that make stepping away feel safe.
"Saebra provides critical insight and guidance through a multifaceted understanding of business operations, equine health and welfare, staff support, and overall organizational sustainability. Her depth of knowledge and expertise in equine-assisted services is truly invaluable."
"We appreciated the direction in applying a plan for a transition in programming. Having the dedicated time for 'just us' helped us create a tailored 8-week schedule and arena layout. We really enjoyed the individual attention and the opportunity to ask questions that pertained to our programming."
"The guidance is thoughtful, supportive, and rooted in real experience. It comes from people who understand both the heart of this work and the practical realities behind it. I continue to attend trainings because I consistently walk away with ideas and perspectives I can bring back to our program."
The guidance you'll receive is shaped by nearly 40 combined years inside real EAS programs. Hoof Falls & Footfalls brings together coaches who have instructed, directed, mentored, troubleshot, built, repaired, and grown programs across the country, so the support you get is grounded in what actually works, not theory.
